We are seeking a proactive Level 1 NOC Engineer with expertise in Windows and network systems to join our team. As a Level 1 NOC Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our clients' IT infrastructure, troubleshooting issues related to Windows servers and network devices, and providing timely resolution to incidents and service requests
 

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Windows server, desktop, and Layer 2/3 network incidents within SLA.
  • Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and Group Policy configurations.
  • Configure and support firewalls, switches, routers, VLANs, and VPN connectivity.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange mail flow, spam filtering, and hybrid environments.
  • Support SAN/NAS storage, RAID, backups, and virtual disk restorations.
  • Deploy and troubleshoot Intune, RD Gateway, RemoteApp, and endpoint solutions.
  • Configure and manage network printing, file shares, and SharePoint permissions.
  • Implement firewall rules, NAT, ACLs, and routing policies per security standards.
  • Execute infrastructure move/add/change activities and automate routine tasks.
  • Handle escalations, perform advanced diagnostics, and document network/server environments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
  • 4-9 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on Windows server administration and network troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Windows server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2012/2016/2019) and Active Directory services.
  • Familiarity with basic networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Connective RMM SolarWinds,
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.
