Front-End Developer

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of developers and business analysts using an Agile development methodology developing and supporting AcceleratorKMS. AcceleratorKMS is a system that allows users to design, plan, develop, publish and use work instructions built from a pool of reusable content objects. AcceleratorKMS is a web application and service with native mobile clients for Android and iOS.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years’ experience as Front-End Developer
• Fluent with programming languages and modern JS frameworks/libraries such as Angular
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
• Strong understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms
• Strong knowledge of web standards
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Familiarity with the latest web design trends in HTML5/CSS3
• Understand and adhere to best design practices
• Experience with unit testing and in browser testing and debugging HTML/CSS
• Strong understanding of JavaScript programming and DOM manipulation
• Understanding of API integration and web service methods (REST, XML, JSON)
• Proficient in the use of code versioning tools
• Transform graphical mock-ups of tools and applications and creates HTML and CSS to create functional interfaces
• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
