The Senior Manager, Business Planning & Operations, is a high-visibility critical resource that leads the coordination and strategic alignment of diverse business functions. The incumbent is responsible for streamlining high-importance projects and conducting leadership level internal and external initiatives that have a significant impact on the ITSI’s business objectives. Must be comfortable operating at a tactical, strategic and operational level, handling the oversight of projects that do not neatly fit within the organizational structure or that fall between departments or leadership areas of responsibility. The Senior Manager, Business Planning & Operations, works independently to prioritize and balance a personal workload to meet critical deadlines and target dates for assignments.

Role Description:

  • Oversee large, often cross-functional, organization-wide projects or initiatives; bring together important stakeholders and help drive decisions. Work remotely with end-users and technicians, diagnose and recommend solutions leading to resolution of issues in VoIP environments
  • Research, perform benchmarking, analyze data, and make recommendations.
  • Lead annual strategic planning process for ITSI by acting as a project manager and ensuring alignment with the senior leadership team.
  • Assist with determination of key performance indicators/objective setting and update dashboards as needed.
  • Manage internal and external communications, e.g., company newsletters, reports, pitch decks, presentations, etc.
  • Instrumental in ensuring all material required for meetings is accurate and concise, either as the owner of the material or working with others


Requirements:

  • Advanced MSOffice skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, PowerBI, Planner
  • Ability to apply superior project management skills to define initiatives with limited starting information, create a plan or strategy, and execute on it
  • Exceptionally high standard of professionalism, confidentiality, strong interpersonal skills and discretion is required
  • Fast learner as will need to quickly glean in-depth knowledge and understanding of the relevant area(s) of business
  • Excellent English business communication skills (both written and verbal). Must be able to clearly articulate what needs to be done and how to do it
  • Strong analytical and critical/strategic thinking skills
  • Coaching/Mentoring skills – ability to teach without doing and fostering accountability

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a senior administrator in technical support environment
  • Previous experience working in a fast-moving complex environment preferred
  • MBA considered an asset
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification/ Continuous Improvement Training considered an asset
