What you’ll do

You will work with our software localization engineering team to develop and deliver unprecedented end-to-end localized solutions that supports our cloud and on premises software products in up to 36 languages around the world. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and is passionate about cultures and languages. Your responsibility will include:

• Perform day to day product localization for software user interface and documentation.
• Create and maintain high-quality language packs for on-premise and cloud-based communication and collaboration products.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and document localization issues and customer cases.
• Establish operational and technical procedures.
• Develop and integrate automation tools and streamline internal workflow and processes.

Our minimum requirements for this role:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably a research Masters, in Computer Science or other related software engineering discipline.
• At least five years hands on configuration and management experience with computer assisted translation tools and translation management systems.
• A working knowledge of Java, C#, .Net, and JavaScript internationalization.
• 2 years of fully engaged Python software engineering, development, and testing, in an Agile environment.
• Working experience with CI/CD systems, Git, Jenkins, and SQL databases.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new, complex development environments with analytical skills, and quantitative problem-solving.

Our desired requirements for this role:

• Localization engineering experience is essential, preferably with enterprise solutions.
• Experience with Passolo and XTM is preferable.
• A deep understanding for diverse cultural, political, and religious environments, and be able to work successfully in those environments.

• Flexibility and creativity in planning and problem solving throughout a product’s life cycle, from high level conceptual design to detailed implementation, testing, and delivery.
• A skilled communicator that can collaborate effectively with team members through a variety of work styles.
• Maintain a sense of humor in stressful situations.
