We are seeking a highly skilled Unified Communications Upgrade Project Engineer to lead a comprehensive upgrade of our OpenScape Voice and Collaboration environment. This role involves planning, executing, testing, and supporting upgrades across various OpenScape components, ensuring minimal business disruption and full compliance with supported configurations.

Responsibilities:
- Lead version upgrades across OpenScape and integrated third-party systems.
- Collaborate with Voice, Network, UC, and Infrastructure teams for seamless integration.
- Manage system testing, rollback strategies, and deployment schedules.
- Document procedures and provide technical support during and after upgrades.
- You will oversee upgrades to the latest supported versions (or ensure compatibility) for the following platforms:
- OpenScape Voice (V10 → V11 or latest)
- OpenScape Xpressions V7
- OpenScape Contact Center (V10, V11)
- OpenScape Contact Media Service V11
- OSILA V3
- OpenScape SBC – SIP Trunking (V10 → V11 or latest)
- OpenScape Branch (V10 → V11 or latest)
- OpenScape Deployment Service (V10 → V11 or latest)
- OpenScape UC (MS, FE, BE) (V10 → V11 or latest)
- ASC neo (6.7.0 → latest)
- DAKS (V9 → V10 or latest)
- OpenScape IP Desktop 35G Eco V3 (→ V11 or latest)
- OpenScape IP Desktop 35/55 V3 (→ V11 or latest)
- OpenScape CP Phones (100–700x) (V1 R10 → latest)
- OpenScape CP110, CP710 V2 (→ latest)
- Polycom 7000 (4.0.4 → latest)
- VMware ESXi (V7 → latest supported)
- Call Optic V1.1 (→ latest)
- OpenScape Personal Edition (V7 → V9 or latest)
- 5+ years of experience in Unified Communications, particularly with OpenScape or Mitel.
- Proven success in complex UC upgrade projects.
- Strong knowledge of SIP Trunking, SBCs, VMware, and IP telephony.
- Experience with change control, project coordination, and risk mitigation.
- Certifications in OpenScape, Mitel, or VMware are a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with ASC voice recording, DAKS alerting, and Polycom systems.
- Ability to work independently and with remote teams.
